林天送餐时，偶遇萧婉儿，英雄救美被暴揍后与萧婉儿一夜荒唐，林天获得天师法力而不自知，临结婚时退缩逃离；五年后，法力全失的萧婉儿带着林楠楠找到林天，为了保护林楠楠免遭周家迫害，林天在危机中意外触发了天师法力，但周家为了得到林楠楠的血脉之力。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
