In this very personal film, he uncovers the remarkable story of how these 'birds from paradise' have captivated explorers, naturalists, artists, film-makers...。高志枫在接妻子黎娜下班回家的途中遭遇了严重事故，痛失爱妻，从此一蹶不振。好友戴彭想尽办法帮他解开心结，使他振作。恰好公司为配合5G时代的到来，开发了一款真人体验游戏。戴彭找来高志枫告诉他：在游戏里可以体验超级硬汉的感觉，能够拯救世界，并且拯救自己。高志枫在游戏中真的成为了硬汉，一路闯关，目的是解救卫明博士并夺回落入敌手的“风神”。但当他看到前来参战的女队友样貌时愣住了，这个女人竟然是黎娜。恍惚间，高志枫以为自己回到了过去，紧紧拥抱住自己的爱人，直面内心的伤痛，看着游戏中的黎娜，高志枫露出了久违的笑容。重拾信心的高志枫与黎娜并肩作战，配合默契，携手面对困难，突破重重关卡，完成任务，赢得胜利。。
