【繁体版】方蓉蓉生日当天，方家养女方晓月为谋得方家产业，设计哥哥方明川为帮方蓉蓉买生日蛋糕而死，方母因此怨恨方蓉蓉，无法直视与原谅女儿方蓉蓉。 方蓉蓉发现哥哥出事当天有蹊跷，想追查，却被方晓月百般设计与刁难，导致方蓉蓉与母亲的关系急剧恶化，甚至被赶出家门。 方蓉蓉几次试图缓和与家人的关系，却遭方晓月陷害，精神出现极大问题，在得知方蓉蓉怀疑自己后，方晓月干脆一不做二不休，买凶除掉方蓉蓉。 方蓉蓉死里逃生成为植物人，意识体回到方家，得知自己及哥哥的死亡真相，眼见方晓月为夺得家产，害死父亲，更想要害死母亲，心急如焚，强大刺激下，被余姝和阿金所救的植物人方蓉蓉终于醒来。 方蓉蓉醒来，得知余姝为救自己而死，尸体被当成了方蓉蓉。 而阿金为余姝死前的遗愿，有意引导方家人，方蓉蓉已死，为让方蓉蓉得到自由。 方蓉蓉无法接受余姝不明不白的代替自己死去，为哥哥、余姝及父亲，方蓉蓉利用余姝的名字回到方家，借口替方蓉蓉照顾方母而留在方家，借机唤醒方母，守护家人，并替死去的哥哥和余姝找到真凶将她绳之以法。 方晓月看到余姝出现，惊恐万分，以为方蓉蓉死而复生，几度试探，反被阿金和余姝（方蓉蓉）不断耍弄，方晓月精神逐渐崩溃，为一劳永逸，再度找到凶手，故技重施，欲除掉余姝。却落入了余姝（方蓉蓉）编织的天罗地网中。 余姝（方蓉蓉）终于惩治恶人，也令被蒙蔽的方母看到了真相。 方母悔恨，想与余姝（方蓉蓉）重修旧好，方蓉蓉无法原谅母亲，在阿金的帮助下，母女俩最终和好，方家经历风雨，迎来了新的开始。。当在一栋别墅里发现一些被肢解的尸体时,经验丰富的泰勒警探被指控寻找凶手。一个不太可能的嫌疑犯揭露了一些秘密被带到了坟墓,一些秘密把我们带到了坟墓。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
