“Ah Yong餐馆”是一家老字号，辉煌时期曾经是城中热门的餐厅。餐厅不但提供精致中餐，还供应各种传统西餐和亚洲美食。可是随著时代的变迁，餐厅的创办人Ah Yong因中风退休，餐厅交给其大女儿Rosemary打理之后，就风光不再。外国学成归来的Rosemary是一个工作狂，每天埋首餐厅生意。她一心想把餐馆业绩提高，也觉得继续保持独特传统口味是不可行的，因此决定将生意方针逆转，以噱头为生意方针。在此情况下，餐厅的老顾客一个个失望地离开了，而新来的顾客越来越多是不懂饮食之人，除了胡乱糟蹋食物，还随意浪费美食。大雄是餐厅主厨，跟随Ah Yong多年，两人感情如父子，餐厅就像他自己的家一样。当他看到餐厅被Rosemary的“求新求变”弄得乱七八糟，心里十分沉痛。大雄对于食材素质要求非常严格，因为那是师父教落的原则。某日他见到代理送来的食材不符合新鲜标准，拒绝...。One day, thinking that it will make your wife and friends smile, you shave off the moustache that you have had for the last ten years. Viewers who like their conclusions tidy may rebel, but those who relish outstanding performances in the service of an intriguing idea will be entertained.
