1920年，为躲避中国大陆动荡不安的时局，一代功夫名家费柴携子玉书来到香港，出于安全考虑，他隐姓埋名做了一名剃头匠，虽收入微薄，却好在平安。唯一令他烦心的是玉书无心向学贪读漫画，责骂多次亦无效。 某日，玉书来到警司家，无意间发现他正与黑帮分子王正利做贩卖人口的非法生意，非常气愤，又见王正利欲对警司下女小茹不轨，玉书再也抑制不住愤怒，一番打斗，小茹被救出，玉书得罪警司与王正利。其后，费柴与玉书再无宁日，就在二人无法招架恶势力狠毒的蝎子功时，漫画书帮上大忙。。This season began merely two whole weeks after the first season had ended, on April 19, 2008, with the airing of "The Elite Guard", and ended on July 5, 2008, with the two-parter, "A Bridge Too Close".
