主要讲述了名扬中外的藏刀第五代传人多吉的故事。多吉不仅以打造宝刀闻名，还肩负着保护山区野生动物的重任。由于年事已高，他希望将藏刀技艺传给儿子扎旺，但扎旺因考上大学而不愿继续这一传统行业。父子因此产生矛盾，最终导致扎旺离家出走，多吉被捕杀野生动物团伙重伤身亡。扎旺在经历了一系列波折后，最终回到家乡开设了藏刀加工厂，继续守护这片净土。。《一个明星的诞生》讲述的是一个过气的明星帮助一个有着明星梦的年轻女孩实现梦想的故事。。This is a story about people in love with cinema, and a country going through its most difficult times.
