故事发生在解放前的上海。父母双亡后，三毛（文彬彬 饰）在乡下生活无着，只好来上海投奔原先乡下邻居姐姐（马秋影 饰）。姐夫（俞祥明 饰）是个上海滩混混头目，他教三毛当小偷，正直的三毛不愿干这种下三烂营生，被姐夫轰出家门。流落街头的三毛靠乞讨为生，后被剃头师父（刘侠声 饰）收留，暂时有了栖身之处。师娘（夏静 饰）埋怨丈夫收留这个大街上捡来的野孩子，加之当时物价飞涨，经常入不敷出，三毛就成了出气筒。手艺还未学成，不久三毛被转送给算命骗人的吴瞎子（范哈哈 饰）。常言道，人瞎心狠，他动不动虐待折磨伺候他的三毛和穷孩子小英（嫩娘 饰）。度日如年的三毛不甘心就这样苟活下去，他决定设计报复这个害人的瞎子......。This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。刘有福、耗子、金毛三位法盲农民工因被外出筹措资金的老板雷金虎拖欠工资，引起误会，后绑架雷金虎之子小虎，从而引发的一系列令人啼笑皆非却又令人深思的都市温情喜剧故事。。
