A romantic comedy drama about finding love when you least expect it. 3 people all experience tragedies they feel they will never overcome, can they find hope and love again in the future - or will the past always keep holding them back?。女主（久间田琳加饰）的高中前男友成濑大和（盐野瑛久饰），同时也是男主（山中柔太朗饰）的哥哥，三人将展开一段复杂的三角恋爱。。全片由《麻雀趣事》、《有口难言》、《圆谎记》三个独立故事构成：《麻雀趣事》通过上海顾客与广东伙计对话，探讨麻将牌的历史起源；《有口难言》聚焦民国初年女牙医与助手离奇死亡案件，受害者口中发现半截舌头；《圆谎记》描写元朗乡绅马大哈在英女皇访港期间因谎言陷入困境。。
