This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。人类消失后，地球经历了漫长的岁月。 位于日本首都东京银座的「银河楼」酒店，至今仍在营业中。 工作人员是以酒店机器人八千代为中心，在各个部门工作的员工机器人们。它们一边等待老板的归来和再次迎接人类的时刻，一边在没有住客的酒店里专心致志地工作，这样的日子仿佛永无止境。 而对于这样的八千代等人，现在，小小的奇迹即将发生——。
