兩個不同單親家庭長大的女孩，從小就讀一樣的學校，長大後也進入同一個職場成為同事，兩人外表與個性天差地別，相鬥十幾年不厭倦。某一天，一個黑道老大突然出現在她們的生活中，聲稱是她們的父親，而兩人居然是同父異母的姐妹……。Set in 1989, Jake (Harmon), an out-of-work photojournalist who struggles with addiction and a troubled past, takes a job as watchman of a wilderness lodge on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, alongside veteran handyman Sparky (Granger). Jake sets up a darkroom to develop the photos he shoots, which begin to reveal disturbing premonitions of their future.。
