日本，幕府时代，流浪中的瞽女（抚琴卖艺的盲人女子）市（绫濑遥饰）在大雪中被人收留，收留她的男子心怀不轨，不想市一剑就将其刺伤。原来市深怀绝世剑法，流浪四方，目的是寻找一名男性盲人剑客。 市在途中与貌似胆小的落魄剑客十马（大泽隆夫饰）相识，二人结伴来到了一个村镇。这里有名为万鬼党的流氓团伙作恶，市轻易杀掉几个恶人，但十马却被当地人误会为英雄，十马被当地人为保镖。万鬼党的复仇随之而来，小镇面临一场腥风血雨。市与十马不仅要拯救大家的性命，还从万鬼党中得知了一直寻找的剑客的消息。。An under-appreciated, over worked assistant entrusted with a million dollar necklace races to find out which of his friends betrayed him, as he battles a desperate criminal duo bent on stealing the necklace.
