Fårö Document 1979 is the ten-year followup to the first documentary Bergman made about his adopted home, Fårö, where he filmed many of his best works and lived until the end of his life。傅柔自幼丧母，继母为了争夺巨额家产，从小把傅柔娇养的体弱多病、软弱无能，一场意外的发生，傅惊墨重新介入傅柔的生活，不断刺激傅柔学会勇敢和独立，两人心中埋藏多年的情感呼之欲出。一场阴差阳错的谋杀，傅惊墨重伤入院，两人终于面对了自己的内心……。
