纪录片《东方新科幻》由总台影视剧纪录片中心、总台四川总站、成都市广播电视台联合摄制。该片从我们对未来的追问与幻想出发，在中国科幻创作者百余年的探索中，引领观众感受充满想象力的未来世界；科幻创作者与科研工作者的互动，让天马行空的思想实验更具现实意义；通过对中国科幻文学、影视、学术等多领域多角度的全景呈现，展现独具东方意蕴的未来故事。。Nahuel lives with his father in a fishing town, yet he has a deep fear of the sea. One day, he finds a magical book that seems to be the solution to this problem, but a dark sorcerer is after it and captures Nahuel's father. This is where his journey to rescue his father and overcome his fears begins。
