上世纪二十年代，美国著名探险家史蒂文教授写信让在美国求学的中国学生顾小培立即启程回国，因他在中国北方找到了惊天大宝藏。回到中国的顾小培却失去了教授的音讯，在寻找教授的过程中她结识到了曾经是一名军人并具有正义感与好身手的博东衡，俩人决定一起寻找教授及宝藏。通过巧施计策，他们终于摸清了真相，证实教授已经死亡，但他留下了一份藏宝图。不少探险者及一个神秘组织同样在寻找这份藏宝图。随着大家渐渐接近宝藏，所有的人也都渐渐分不清是敌是友。。Karl Hochman, a technician in a computer shop, is also "The Address-Book Killer", who obtains the names of his victims from stolen address-books.
