罗想（陈小艺 饰）的父母虽然有着一层亲戚关系，但是夫妻关系一向冷淡，终于在罗想上大学的时候离婚分居。多少年以后，罗想和严立达（冯远征 饰）拥有了自己的家庭，可内心还是希望父亲罗湛（修宗迪 饰）能和母亲朱西子（杜宁琳 饰）复婚，然而罗湛却爱上了丧夫并带着一个女儿的桂雅莉，这让罗想心里蛮不是滋味。当她一门心思为了父母的爱情操心时，怎料到自家后院起火，朱西子力劝女儿和有外遇的严立达离婚。接二连三的波澜让罗想心力交瘁，而她也无意间发现自己的身体出了问题。 操劳受累的女人，心灰意冷看不到活下去的希望……。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized".
