两次金棕榈得主、丹麦导演比利·奥古斯特新片《The Passion ion ofMarie》，讲述丹麦历史上两位著名画家Peder SeverinKroyer和妻子Marie之间的故事。在凭借《征服者佩尔》摘得奥斯卡最佳外语片、金棕榈以及金球奖扬名国际之后，奥古斯特一直在外国拍片，1992年瑞典语的《善意的背叛》再次摘得金棕榈奖，而《ThePassion ofMarie》将是他14年来的首部丹麦影片。Kroyer曾在巴黎留学，是他将印象画派介绍给了丹麦。他在37岁时遇到了小自己16岁的Marie，但他不稳定的精神状态毁掉了两人的婚姻。Marie后来离开了他并瑞典著名的作曲家雨果·阿尔芬结合。。Finding herself the victim of a violent monster attack, Jane launches a vigilante campaign to hunt the beast that tried to kill her. Jane's efforts intensify, but her troubling history of drug use and mental illness bubbles to the surface causing her family, community, and authorities to question the authenticity of her account.
