故事发生在20世纪70年代清秀美丽的西南山区，为响应国家号召，高中生覃相民和幺姑留在当地的学校教书，青梅竹马的两人相互扶持，感情愈加亲密起来。相民的父亲想让他学习医术，可相民却一心想考入大学见识外面的世界。正巧队上分配下来一个推荐大学生的名额，幺姑满心欢喜告诉相民，希望相民在北京学成后将自己接走。但之后发生的一系列事件不断刺激着相民，内心挣扎许久的相民最终在推荐书上填上了幺姑的名字……。British Army radiation drills at a remote Scottish base attract a subterranean, radioactive entity of unknown nature that vanishes, leaving two severely radiation-burned soldiers... and a "bottomless" crack in the earth. Others who meet the thing in the night suffer likewise, and with increasing severity| it seems to be able to "absorb" radiation from any source, growing bigger...。
