The students must figure out a way to stop Cupid and undo the spell before their hearts get broken… literally.”。1985年,北京人民艺术剧院在首都公演高行健编剧、林兆华导演的话剧《野人》。这出从思想内涵到表现形式都不乏探索尝试性质的戏剧,在观众中引起了不同的反响,在戏剧理论界亦可谓毁誉参半。作为一部“多声部现代史诗剧”,《野人》“本土化”的“史诗剧”艺术样式掩盖不了其“史诗性”的缺失,从而窥见高行健“完全的戏剧”理论的负面效应之一,即对戏剧文学优良传统的摈弃。。一个疯疯癫癫、怪异离奇的金·凯瑞——1999年，他在《月亮上的男人》饰演了自己的偶像、喜剧大师安迪·考夫曼，而拍摄该片的一些幕后视频(很多是考夫曼的前女友Lynne Margulies拍的)如今才由这部纪录片曝光，原来环球一度不想让视频浮出水面，金凯瑞说，是因为“我看起来像个大混蛋”——他出演该片时深深地进入了“方法派”领域，即使下了戏，他也处于考夫曼疯狂的状态中。而他心中到底怎么想，还能找到“我是谁”吗？。
