本作改编自作家森泽明夫的原作小说。影片讲述了小时候母亲去世的心也与在家中没有归属感的夕花之间的故事。这对同班同学因机缘巧合成立了“闲暇部”，原本孤独的两人逐渐拉近了的距离。然而，一场意外事件后，夕花突然消失了。心也怀抱着无处诉说的情感，遵守着两人之间的约定，默默等待她的归来。在这突如其来的离别过去30年后，夕花的秘密终于浮出水面。。After years in a mental hospital, Megan goes home to visit her brother. But once she arrives her brother has vanished and no one in town remembers him ever existing. Is Megan losing her mind, or is something more diabolical at work?。
