The film has little dialogue and relies on a remarkable series of contrasts for effect: a sultry night of deep, often painful depictions of passion visualized in a stark and grainy manner against the backdrop of a spiritless, bland ...。李开心（霍思燕 饰）邂逅了名为汤帅（雷佳音 饰）的男子，情投意合的两人坠入了情网。然而这段门不当户不对的恋情遭到了汤帅的母亲安琪儿（顾艳 饰）的强烈反对，不顾母亲的阻挠，汤帅放弃了即将继承的财产，净身出户，和李开心一起组建了新的家庭。 不久之后，家族企业遭遇了金融危机最终宣告破产，安琪儿失去了一切无处可去只能投奔汤帅。李开心热情的收留了安琪儿，耐心的劝导和开解她，最终，安琪儿再度找到了生活的意义和真谛。大梅（王晓卯 饰）怀孕了，自此之后，她的全部心思都放在了腹中的孩子身上，忽略了老公李涛（邢瀚卿 饰），导致李涛的秘书趁虚而入。。
